The production strictly follows 15+ traditional steps passed down through generations: fresh ramie stalks are first stripped of outer skin, then undergo dew-bleaching – a natural process that uses morning dew to ferment and degum the fiber, keeping it pure white and soft without any chemical additives. Next, artisans hand-spin the treated ramie into smooth, even yarns, which are then woven into XiaBu fabric on traditional wooden looms.
Our tablecloth comes in three standard sizes to fit different table types: 120cm×180cm (for 4-6 person dining tables), 140cm×200cm (for 6-8 person dining tables), and 160cm×240cm (for large dining tables or conference tables). A2: We recommend hand washing with mild neutral detergent in cold water (below 30°C) or machine washing on a gentle cycle. Avoid bleaching or using harsh detergents. After washing, hang it in a cool, ventilated place to dry – avoid direct sunlight to prevent color fading.

A3: Yes. The natural ramie fiber has good heat resistance, and it can withstand short-term contact with hot dishes (below 80°C). However, we recommend using heat pads for extremely hot items (above 80°C) to extend the tablecloth’s lifespan.
