Next, artisans hand-spin the ramie into smooth, even yarns, which are then woven into dense yet breathable Xia Bu fabric on traditional wooden looms – each thread is carefully aligned, ensuring the fabric balances sunshade performance and air permeability.
The hat features a classic wide-brim design (brim width: 8-10cm) that effectively blocks sunlight from the face, ears, and neck, reducing UV exposure. The crown (circumference: 56-58cm, with an adjustable Velcro strap inside) fits most adult head sizes, ensuring a snug yet comfortable wear without slipping. It weighs only about 80g, making it lightweight and easy to carry – you can fold it into a small size and store it in a backpack or handbag.
